WHY PEOPLE AREN'T CLICKING YOUR LINKS.

So you post your stuff day in day out on various social media outlets, facebook, twitter, soundcloud, tumblr etc etc, but for some reason you are not getting the views you feel the music deserves...so why didn't those thousands and thousands of people click on it?

PRESENTATION.

You are not advertising music, you are advertising a brand, this is something that artists/producers don't realise, would you believe now, in 2014 with all the technology and ability to network we have some of these people don't even have a logo!?

Too often i see a poor cover photo, a generic background and solid pictures stuck on top of it with some funky neon fonts all over the place, whatever the writing says it can only spell amateur.

(Sorry if this is yours LMAO i found it on google images as an example)

Now when i'm scrolling through looking for new music, i'm looking for the ones that made effort, i feel like if i'm going to support anybody why would i support someone who fails to cover the basics, i wanna watch an artist grow and turn their brand into a money making machine, so why would i invest time in someone who doesn't invest in themselves?

I mean, you can do your own artwork, but i ask you, please learn how to do it properly, photoshop can do anything you want it to do with the right knowledge, half assed presentation only gives the impression that the music inside is also half assed and although it may not be the case, most people wont take the opportunity to find out.

For those people who haven't got the time or knack for design work, don't worry there are ALOT of people who specialise in it and create some great work, i have a friend who is ridiiiculously sick that you should check out called Zack Ahmed you can find  a sample of his stuff in this link http://www.behance.net/Rezaq and get at him on twitter @zackahmed

Moral of the story is investment in your craft, means a counter investment by your fans/supporters, in time at the very least.
